Lockheed L-1011 TriStar

The Lockheed TriStar was the second widebody airliner, launched in the late 1960's, it had a lot of setback's due to financial problems and the bankruptcy of Rolls Royce who was developing the new power-plant for the TriStar. The L-1011 earned an excellent reputation in durability, operating cost, low noise emissions as well as safety.
